Dr. Ronit Navon obtained a PhD. in Counseling, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University in 2009. She obtained a Masters in Community Mental Health from Rollins College in 1998. She is a Licensed Mental Health and Qualified Supervisor. Dr. Navon has over 22 years of successfully administering psychological evaluations for juveniles; substance abuse clients, custody cases, SSI, Pre-surgical assessment, Immigration cases, learning disability, mental health diagnosis. Testing includes: Academic, Intelligence, DSM -IV/ICD- 10 Diagnosis, Autism/Spectrum Disorder, Career, and Personality Tests. Her experience has encompassed working with children, adolescence, adults, couples, the elderly, and family, addressing various issues such as Divorce Adjustment, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, Grief, and any other life transitions. My Intervention approach is primarily Solution- Focused Theory. This theory focuses on the individual’s strengths and cognitive process to resolve ongoing and present encountered obstacles to achieve ultimate solution that results of building confidence, hope, and positive outcomes towards life.
